Who we are

Bitforge is a pixel-art studio at bitforge.genxmims.org. This policy explains what we store and why. We do not sell accounts, drawings, or personal data.

What stays on your device

Drawings, palettes, theme, cookie choices, and the local project library are stored in this browser (localStorage). They never leave the device unless you export a file or sign in and save to your cloud library.

What we store if you sign in

Sign-in uses Google or X through a secure identity broker. We receive a name, email, and profile image if the provider shares them, plus a session so you stay signed in.

Sprites you save to the cloud library are stored on our database, scoped to your account, so they can load on another device after you sign in.

Cookies

Session cookies are required to keep you signed in. Preference storage on this device remembers theme and cookie choices. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics cookies. Details are on the Cookies page.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Hosting, database, and sign-in providers process data only to run Bitforge. Exporting a PNG or project file is your choice.

Retention and requests

Local data is yours to clear in the browser. Cloud sprites can be deleted from Projects while signed in. Sign out ends the session. Contact the operator of genxmims.org if you need an account deleted.
